Your Bookish Besties is the go-to spot for the best book recommendations. The two of us bonded over a mutual obsession with a specific Star Wars fanfiction on Archive Of Our Own, and ever since we have been enabling each other to devour books at a sometimes freakish speed. We want the vibe here to be kind of like a book club but without the “we all read this one book at the same time” and instead an “OH MY GOD I AM OBSESSED WITH THIS BOOK PLEASE READ IT SO I HAVE SOMEONE ELSE IN MY LIFE WHO GETS IT”. We like romance, we like spice, we like fantasy. We also dabble in audiobooks & non-fiction every now and then. Any books we post about are books that we recommend. We hope to be a little corner of the internet that you go to because you trust our recs and also want to read something amazing.

Anne is an avid consumer of stories (books, tv, movies, theatre) and has aspirations of working in the publishing industry. Outside of reading, she loves doing theatre, is obsessed with Star Wars, wishes she was currently at a Disney park, and has never met a craft she didn’t like. She lives with her precious baby girl Fiona (the cat in SJ’s picture), who is fiercely private.
